A monumental French ceiling lamp, 1940s, measuring 95 x 95 cm. Octagonal in form, the lamp has a bronze framework arranged in two tiers, the upper tier slimmer than the lower. Frosted glass panels surround each side and the base, and the base is fitted with pink-hued mirrored glass. Eight bulb-holders illuminate the glass, and four additional cup-shaped uplighters complete the lamp. The frosted glass is in perfect condition. The pink glass has a few very discreet old breaks, but there are no losses. Heavy and fragile, please be mindful for transport.
