A well-sized pair of tapestry stools, France, mid-20th century. The seats are dressed in a chartreuse cross-stitch embroidery depicting a rocaille pattern, finished with a fringe border. In original untouched condition, one stool has a very small tear to the top, and could benefit from light restoration, however in usable condition. One seat sits ever so slightly lower.
