A rise and fall ceiling lamp, early 20th century, Austria. Extending to a maximum height of 190cm, the lamp features brass hardware and hanging pulls, leading to the canopy with its original fabric shade, secured by a studded shade holder. Being original to the lamp, the shade shows expected signs of age, including minor snags and light soiling. There is age-related wear and tear, and old repairs. Due to complex wiring and rise and fall mechanism, it requires special attention while installing. Rewired and PAT tested.
